Delivery and returns
Everything for a school is made together after ordering closes, packed by class and sent in one go. Here's how delivery works, what it costs, and what to do if something isn't right.

Delivery prices include VAT. Home delivery is charged per order, however many items are in it.
When it arrives
Everything is made after the closing date and arrives about 14 working days later (a day or two longer at peak times). When the school pays, it arrives about 14 working days after the invoice is paid.
Working days are Monday to Friday, not counting bank holidays in England and Wales or our Christmas break, which runs from Christmas Eve to the first working day on or after 2 January. The set-up shows the expected date when the organiser chooses the closing date. If you need them by a certain date, enter it in the set-up and it shows the latest closing date that works.
If anything is going to be late, we'll tell the organiser as soon as we can, with a new date.
Where we deliver
We deliver to mainland England, Wales and Scotland only. We don't deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or any island, including the Isle of Wight, Anglesey, the Isles of Scilly, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
With the class order
The whole order goes together, free, to the school or one other address the organiser chooses, packed by class. The school then hands everything out. Your child's order counts as delivered when it arrives at that address.
Organisers: please check the boxes when they arrive and tell us within 14 days about anything missing, wrong or damaged.
Posted home
If the school chooses home delivery, every order is posted to the child's home for £5.94 per order. You give your address at checkout, so please check it carefully. A school chooses one way for everyone, so it's either all to school or all posted home.
If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, or it wasn't collected, we'll post it again for another £5.94. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of the date we gave and we'll replace it.
Late orders
For 8 weeks after the closing date, parents can still order on the school's page. Late orders cost £5 extra per order and are posted to your home for £5.94 per order. We make late orders every 2 weeks, and they arrive about 14 working days after that. When the school pays, the organiser can add late garments on their page; they're invoiced on their own and sent to school.
Returns: personalised items
Everything is made to order with your school's names, so it can't be returned for a change of mind, or because a size you chose doesn't fit. The usual 14-day right to cancel online orders doesn't apply to personalised items. Nothing is made before the closing date, though, so you can cancel your order by emailing us before then and we'll refund you in full.
Not sure about a size? Every garment has a size guide with its measurements. If a size turns out wrong and your school's page is still open for late orders (for 8 weeks after the closing date), you can order another size as a late order.
If something is faulty or wrong
Tell us and we'll put it right. We'll remake and replace the item, or refund you if you prefer. This covers:
- faulty or damaged items, such as a flawed print or embroidery, or a print that comes away when washed as the care label says;
- the wrong garment, colour or size, or something missing;
- a name, nickname or initials printed differently from the approved proof or from what was typed when ordering.
We print names exactly as they appear on the proof the organiser approves, and nicknames and initials exactly as they're typed, so please check spellings carefully. If a mistake was on the approved proof, contact us and we'll do what we can to help.
How to tell us
- Email hello@finalregister.co.uk with your order number (or your school's name).
- Tell us what's wrong and attach a photo.
- Please do this as soon as you can, ideally within 14 days of delivery.
If we need the item back, we'll tell you how to return it and pay the postage. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, within 14 days of agreeing the refund.
Your rights
None of this affects your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, items must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty item for a full refund. After that, you can ask for a repair or replacement, and if that doesn't work, a refund or a price reduction. The full details are in our Terms.
